Our studio pushes against the old 'rule' driven traditional wedding industry that has been directing people for years. We are real people who love love and want to help make our clients' weddings as remarkable as they are. We do this with Parisian/Upper East Side sophistication wrapped around a little urban grit and glam.
Our brides come in all shapes, sizes and ages - what they have in common is that they want to look stunning on their wedding day, but most importantly they want to be true to themselves, their own spirit and the relationship they have come to celebrate.

So your saying I need an appointment?
Yes. We want to make sure all of our brides are given our undivided attention, we have stylists and dressing rooms held for individual appointments. We cannot accommodate walk-ins. We require separate appointments to try on wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses and accessories.
Do I need separate appointments to look at both bridal and bridesmaid gowns?
Yes. We want you to be able to have enough time to browse our entire selection, and we have different expert stylists for each section. We do ask that you schedule back to back appointments if you would like to look at both. Plan an hour for each first appointment.
How far in advance do I need to book my appointment?
Typically we book 2 to 3 weeks ahead for a Saturday or Sunday appointment. Book early to guarantee a spot - weekends are in high demand.
How far before my wedding should I make an appointment?
Most of our dresses take 4-6 months to order; less than that often incurs a rush fee. We suggest setting an appointment at least 6-9 months ahead of your date.
How many bridal appointments do you offer at a time?
We adore helping brides and maids find their dream dress. Because we want to preserve this special time, we do our best to only book one bridal and one bridesmaid appointment at a time. Each appointment will have a dedicated bridal consultant for their entire appointment and access to our full inventory of gowns in our charming, cozy (yes, small) studio. Shopping for your dream gown should be relaxed and fun, not stressful. We strive to make you giddy while your wedding vision comes to life.
Can I come in early to browse your collection?
Unfortunately, no. Our appointments are scheduled back to back hourly. We want all of our brides to have an exclusive experience. Kindly come back at your appointed time. There are plenty of great cafes on Sacramento Street- We love dolce and salato for something sweet/ savory and Spruce for a champagne toast.
What should I do if I'm running late?
Please call us to let us know how late you will be. Depending on our schedule, we may be able to extend your appointment time. However during peak appointment times (weekend and evening slots,)we may have to reschedule you. Keep us in the loop and we will do out best to accommodate; we get it- life happens.
What size are your samples?
On average, our samples sizes range from 4-10. Sometimes It takes a little vision to imagine our gowns in your size.
Please note for bridal gowns We do not carry the entire collection from each designer so If there is a specific dress you want to try we can usually arrange to get it on loan for your second appointment. For bridesmaids, unfortunately our designers do not send dresses on loan.
Where can I park?
Metered parking is available along Sacramento Street for two hours intervals. There is also plenty of residential parking along Clay and Spruce Street. Please allow extra time to locate a spot and don't forget some quarters.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
You know you can't wait to put on those Sexy Spanks! we highly recommend a garment that shapes you the way you want on your wedding day. Don't forget to wear a nude bra and neutral undies. Bring a heal height that you anticipate wearing on your big day.
Ideas and an open mind are just as important. Visit our designers' websites to select a few of your favorite styles before your appointment. You should also be open to different styles and sillouhettes. We can't tell you how many times we've heard "this is completely different than I pictured, but I LOVE it!".
How many people can I bring?
We recommend bringing 2-3 maximum; your most trusted friend and/or family member. Ideally you visit us alone in your first appointment and then invite others to the second to compare your favorites. We are a small intimate studio and can not seat more than 4 people.
Do you allow children or dogs?
We love nothing more than the next generation of kids and puppies- but the bridal studio is not set up for either. The furniture and dresses are extremely delicate and we want our full attention to go to the bride.
What is the average price range of your bridal dresses?
Our gorgeous bridal gowns range from $1,800 - $5,500, with the majority of our gowns falling in the $2000- $3500 range. We specialize in finding the new up and coming designers that are fashion forward and yet still reasonable.

What is the price range of your bridesmaids dresses?
We offer a wide selection of bridesmaid dresses that range in price from $175 - $350. The average price is around $230.
Should I bring all of my bridesmaids to my appointment?
Please consider we are a small studio and love the more intimate of affairs.

Do you have any recommendations for selecting bridesmaids' dresses when my bridesmaids are very different heights and sizes?
This is very common and there are several options. You may select a single style that flatters most body types (such as an empire waist with a-line skirt), or you may select a fabric and color from one designer and then allow your bridesmaids to select the style that suits them best from that designer. This is a popular trend and allows the bridesmaids some individuality while still ensuring their style reflects the theme you envisioned.
I know that bridesmaids typically all wear the same colour, but I was considering allowing my bridesmaids to select from a range of colors. Will this look mis-matched in my wedding photos?
A uniform look for bridesmaids is timeless and can have great impact, but we also recommend trying different color combinations for your bridal party. While you may not want to give your bridesmaids complete control when selecting their dress colors, you could pre-select several tones of one color (or a combination of several colors that work well together) and then allow your bridesmaids to choose from your selected colors for their dress and trims (flowers, sashes etc.). This can produce a very beautiful result in wedding photos. Don't have a great eye for color? We would be happy to help you choose colors that work well together.
Do you have all of the styles and colours in stock?
Given the limitless combination of styles and colours, it is not possible for us to show every colour and style combination available to you. However, we have over 100 sample dresses and hundreds of fabric swatches in our store and can help you design your dream dress from our selection.
Are the dresses custom made?
The dresses are not made to your exact measurements. You choose the color, the style, and the fabric that you would like the dress to be made in, and then you choose a size bracket based on bust, waist and hip. We can help you determine by taking measurements and then referring to the designer's size chart. Since everyone's body is different, you should expect that alterations will still be needed upon receiving your dress. We do not do alterations, but we do have a seamstress that we highly recommend.
My bridesmaids live throughout the country. Can you ship the dresses everywhere?
Yes. We handle this often for our brides. We coordinate the ordering process for you from start to finish and will ship dresses to every state. Unfortunately we cannot ship international shipments directly.
Do you carry every dress from every designer?
If only we could. Our designers have large collections that evolve from season to season, and each dress is available in many different lengths, fabrics and colors. We make our sample selections from each designer according to the styles, fabrics and colors we believe best represent the collection. If you'd like to know if we have a particular style available to try on, just ask. Our typical sample size for bridesmaids ranges from 6 - 12.
I am in love with a dress from one of your designers, but you don't have the style, are you able to get it in for my appointment?
No for bridesmaids.

Do you do alterations?
We do not offer in-house alteration services, however, we are happy to provide recommendations.
What else do I need to know?
For the sake of our delicate, painstakingly made gowns, please try to avoid wearing heavy makeup or jewelry that could damage them during your visit. please no spray tans. We ask that you let the stylists handle the gowns so the responsibility of the dresses is on them.
We are asked all the time...what exactly is a trunk show?
In short, it is an opportunity for bridal boutiques to showcase more of a particular designer's collection for a weekend. Each designer sends in more sizes, colors and styles that we may not have in the store at all times. The trunk shows only last a couple of days, and appointments fill up quickly, so we recommend you book early if one of your favorite designers is showcasing. Discounts apply on trunk show merchandise during the trunk show dates only.
